Poseidon's dad is Cronos and his mother is Rhea. Cronos is the god of time and Rhea is the mother of the Olympian gods and goddesses.
He has five brothers and sisters. Zeus, the god of the sky. Hades, the god of the underworld. Hera, the goddess of woman and marriage. Hestia, the goddess of the hearth, and Demeter, the goddess of the harvest.
His two brothers and him split up the earth. Poseidon got the sea, Zeus got the sky, and Hades got the underworld.
His wife is Amanphrite, she is a mermaid and is Poseidon's first and only wife.
Poseidon has a son named Triton, he has a conch that lowers or raises the sea level when blown.
